How it all began
An ad by Lars Ulrich in the LA Recycler caught James Hetfield’s attention. They decided to pair up and soon recruited Mr. Hetfield’s friend and roomie Ron McGovney to play bass and Dave Mustaine to play lead guitar. The rest, as they say, is history.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards – Men who kept the Stone Rolling
Formed in 1962, Rolling Stones has been around for 55 years. Though the relationship of the two iconic artistes has been tumultuous, it’s undeniable that they enriched and elevated rock music to newer heights.
How it all began
Keith Richards and Mick Jagger were childhood friends and classmates in Kent. However, the Jaggers later moved to a Wilmington. During his stay in Wilmington, Jagger formed a garage band with Dick Taylor. The duo were chiefly playing covers of Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and so on. In the beginning of 1960 Jagger met Richards again. What Jagger carried – the Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records – helped Richards to realize that their taste in music is similar. Soon he became a regular at his house where they played together. This paved way for one of the most formidable friendships in the history of rock music.

The most successful music director duo from the 90s till early 2000, Nadeem–Shravan has given countless hits to Bollywood. Characterized by their use of three musical instruments in particular; bansuri, sitar and shehnai in their compositions, they created soulful music.

Though Nadeem-Shravan rose to fame in the 90s with the movie Aashiqui, their friendship dates back to the 70s.They met each other at a function in 1973, and the very year they got their first film project for a Bhojpuri film.
